Open Interest Data Analysis App - Launching my 2nd SaaS
After transitioning away from trade execution tools, I realized the real edge in options scalping isn't just about how fast you can click "buy," but how clearly you can read the market's hidden forces. Today, I'm thrilled to announce the beta launch of my second SaaS: OIData.

If you read my last post about open-sourcing AmpTrade, you know my philosophy on trading has shifted. The broker ecosystem has largely solved the execution problem with advanced, lightning-fast native terminals. Fighting to build a better execution wrapper didn't make sense anymore.
But as my focus fully pivoted to pure options scalping in indices like Nifty and Banknifty, a new problem emerged: Data clarity. There is an overwhelming amount of noise in the market. As an options trader, price action alone isn't always enough to predict momentum. You need to know where the big money is sitting, where liquidity is trapped, and how market sentiment is shifting in real-time. That’s the gap I wanted to bridge.
Enter OIData
I am super excited to introduce my second SaaS project: OIData.
OIData is a web application purpose-built for Open Interest (OI) analysis in the Indian stock market. It is designed to strip away the clutter of traditional charting tools and provide traders with purely analytical insights into the hidden forces driving price action.
As a UI/UX designer, one of my biggest frustrations with existing data platforms is how bloated they feel. They throw endless tables, flashing numbers, and complicated heatmaps at you until you experience analysis paralysis. With OIData, my goal was to bring a modern, minimalistic design approach to financial data. I wanted a tool that is clean, fast, and instantly readable, allowing you to gauge market sentiment at a glance.
What’s Included in the Beta?
OIData is currently live in its beta phase at www.oidata.in. Right now, the core focus is on tracking momentum and liquidity:
- Real-Time OI Tracking: Monitor shifts in Open Interest to see where writers are building positions or unwinding, giving you a clearer picture of dynamic support and resistance levels.
- Market Sentiment Indicators: Simplified visual representations of bullish vs. bearish momentum based on options data.
- Minimalist Interface: A distraction-free UI that gives you exactly the data you need for quick scalping decisions, without the eye strain.
Why Beta?
Building a data-heavy application is a completely different beast than building an API wrapper. Handling massive streams of market data requires rigorous optimization to ensure there is no lag when it matters most.
By launching in beta, I want to test the infrastructure under real-world conditions and gather feedback from fellow traders. I want to know what data points you look at before taking a scalp, what visual layouts make the most sense to your brain, and what features you feel are missing.
Try It Out
If you trade options and rely on Open Interest to find your edge, I would love for you to give it a spin.
Head over to www.oidata.in to check out the beta. Since it's early days, expect frequent updates, UI tweaks, and new analytical tools being rolled out over the coming weeks.
Let me know what you think, and as always, happy trading!
